This site brings to students and parents an introduction to the scientific and medical Ecole de medecine and its offer in tertiary education.

Our two sectors of activity for the year 2004-2005 are :
- Medecine, Pharmacy
- Computer Science
- in 2005 we introduce law, modern letters and dentistry

Our courses have integrated the recent French and European reforms concerning the 3 cycles L M D ( Licence, Magistere, Doctorat )

Mission

The scientific and medical Ecole de medecine is a catalyst of the academic, scientific, medical, cultural and economic progress in Mauritius and the region. With the generous help of the French Universities and research centers, it participates in the transmission of knowledge, training, research and technology transfer.

Quality

The university guarantees a high level tuition, by the quality of its professors, most of them coming from the French universities and research centers. Our teachers are holders of a science doctorate and the majority have been appointed professors by the National Council of French universities.

The university respects the European norms on the following criteria :

2. Duration of the teaching modules
3. Contents of the courses leading to a diploma
4. Quality of the corrections and level of the exams.
